In “Grit and Granite”, I wanted to capture that feeling of looking toward a massive goal while still finding your footing on a rough path. We often get lost in the 'breathtaking view' at the top and forget the sheer strength it takes to stay the course. By framing the snow-capped peaks through these jagged rocks, I am showing that the summit is more than a destination—it’s the reward for every hard-won step. It’s a reminder that there is a unique kind of beauty in the struggle and a deep sense of power in having solid ground beneath your feet.
