The Story Behind The Art

My work as an artist is an exploration of beauty born from brokenness and hope discovered through chaos.

I have kept a sketchbook by my side for as long as I can remember; art has never been just a hobby, but rather the way I process the world and observe the beauty around me. While I studied art in college and later refined my skills at the Milan Art Institute, I have found that my most authentic work emerges when I lean into pure joy and allow God to lead the creative process.

My creative journey is deeply rooted in personal restoration. God took a broken, abandoned, and abused life and spoke vitality back into it—restoring what was stolen, renewing what was destroyed, and healing deep wounds. This truth anchors both my life and my canvas: God is my refuge and in Him I will trust.

My artistic process begins in a raw, honest place using charcoal. It is my preferred language—simple, versatile, and grounded. Much like life itself, this broken, burned material is transformed to create something beautiful. Once the foundation is laid, I layer energy into the piece with bold acrylics, finishing with the rich, soulful depth of oils. This mixed-media approach allows me to bring each piece to life, whether capturing a wide-open landscape or an intimate portrait.

I am a firm believer in “pure art” - creating art that is not just viewed, but deeply felt. By highlighting the beauty and texture of life, I aim to offer you a connection that inspires a lasting sense of joy and hope.
